2013 and beyond

The start of 2013 has as expected been incredibly busy and exciting. Our temporary event structures have toured the length of the country with sound specialists QAV. We had some challenging times on the tour, especially when the weather took a turn for the worse. But we managed a very successful tour and supplied QAV with a 20m inflatable structure for a series of Doosan conferences that QAV were providing sound for.

The future is bright, the future is Evolution Dome! Yes I did just use that well know line. We have some exciting event structures gracing many events in 2013. April will see our event structures in central London once more. This time at Battersea Power Station with two 14m domes and connection tunnels working alongside global fuel giants, Shell as they promote their new fuel. We will also be providing event structures for the BBC at the end of summer as their CBeebies tour travels the UK. For this tour we will be providing the BBC with several branded inflatable domes. Keep posted for updates of this tour as some of the domes will be turning into a selection of vegetables! Exciting times!

New staff strengthen our team

2013 also sees the arrival of new staff to our team. As we continue to grow and progress, we needed to recruit some passionate and experienced team players to our team.  Helen Parr joined Evolution Dome at the start of the year to look after our growing number of international customers. Helen brings with her a wealth of experience of event structures and the event industry and has already settled into the team at Evolution Dome. Also arriving to the team is Jon Orchard, a creative marketing writer who will be writing for our newsletter to keep our customers up to date with what we have been up to. There may even be an interview with me in the next edition of the newsletter. Jon will also be responsible for all our website news and marketing campaigns. We welcome our new staff to Evolution Dome
